Last week, I had the privilege of conversing with the trainers at OSIM to learn the powerful uses of OSIM’s latest new release; uInfinity, 天王之王, on top of having this gorgeous baby delivered to my house for my enjoyment! ;)
Before I begin, uInfinity is the world’s only massage chair that lets you download new massage programs, so that you can always enjoy new massage programs from OSIM. I was amazed with the humanized massage programs to name a few, the CEO, the Tai Tai, the golfer massage program. Not that you can only use the CEO program if you a real CEO. You can use the program even if you are an aspiring one, teehee :p

Some of my pet peeves of massage chairs which irate me to no end is the standardized massage points in the chair against my very petite frame and (ahem) vertically challenged height haha. Let’s take the photo below for reference. The headrest which settles comfortably on Brad’s neck literally became a head pillow for me because of my height. And the rest is history. Imagine the massage points supposedly for the upper back, it will be massaging my neck instead and so on – incredibly uncomfortable experience I would say.
But I am absolutely in love with uInfinity because..
This highly intelligent massage chair is able to detect the user’s body and reposition the massage points to mould and contour the user’s body so it targets the right pain points and provide precise and soothing solutions for specific needs. Never mind you have the most diverse heights and sizes in your family – uInfinity is suited for all ages, shapes and sizes :p

Did I not mention? There is a Beauty massage program which is a feminine but intense massage program that tracks and massage the “Hour-Glass contours” targeting the arms, outer-back, lower-back, waist, hips, butt, thighs and calves. This massage tones and firms these main beauty areas for a shapelier silhouette. I have been using it regularly as a “supplement” to my beauty regime for a feel-good all over!
Other than the Beauty massage program which tops my list, I seek comfort in calming and soothing the common pain points which resulted from the long-time spent in front of the computer. In addition, the long years in strenuous dance activities have resulted in this nagging pain at my lumbar (lower back) that have plagued me for many years now. If I carry a load too heavy or bend over for too long, the pain is so intense the tears just come uncontrollably. Sometimes, I consider this a blessing because I cannot do housework haha! But this is why I often require massage on my neck, shoulders and back. After 3 long years, John has been pretty helpful and he has become an expert in massaging! Any masseuse for you? ;)
For the die-hard DIY-ers, you can still adjust every single setting manually to suit their personal preference, using either the wired control panel or wirelessly via an Android smartphone (sorry iPhone users).

Before I forget, the reclining position of uInfinity is in a zero-stress position and both John and I feel completely, completely relaxed at every massage session with our chair back home ;)
If you have really sharp eyes, you would have seen the uInfinity also incorporates a full-fledged leg massager. The legg massager features tui-na massage and is retractable and also reversible to function as a leg rest (compare the photo above and the one below). It is also John’s favourite part of the chair because the long hours spent on standing the entire day puts on painful strain on his calves and soles. If I can quote him, “This is super shiok. Just 15 minutes on the chair and I am recharged!”.
Ever since the kind people at OSIM delivered uInfinity to the comfort of my home, I have been saving so much monies on my weekly massages. This massage chair have been giving me humanized massages; it feels unlike being massaged by a machine, it definitely feels like having a real person massaging me. Thank you, OSIM for letting me rediscover the wonders of a massage chair and what more, this revolutionary massage chair. I can’t wait to see what programs I can download in time to come! ;)
