My Proposal In Japan

It was an evening well spent with bloggers Beatrice and Peggy at Watch Station International (WSI) last week at Marina Bay Sands! Before I begin, gotta give thanks to both Bea and Pegs for some of the photos in this post! :) And also to the friendly Sijie and Juliana for their great hospitality throughout the event. 

If you are wondering what is all the hype for these 2 entries on watches, it is because I AM a ardent fan on wearing big faced automatic chronograph male watches! Started to appreciate watches about a year ago after visiting so many watch boutiques with John who is a big fan himself. Can’t say no to an event where I can appreciate so many watches! ;) 

WSI is a concept store from the brand Fossil where it house many familiar brands like Michael Kors, Armani Exchange, Emporio Armani, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Skagen, Mondaine, Glam Rock and Diesel to name a few familiar ones. There is a new brand I discovered from this event, Karl Lagerfeld which carries many classy and elegant pieces. More photos below on this brand.

This Michael Kors watch is such a beautiful watch with its understated simplistic beauty. It is not too loud, and it is so elegant when worn. Beatrice chose this watch in the end after much consideration!

We spent 2 hours going 3 at the shop admiring watches and goofing around haha. Events are made so much enjoyable with times like this!

I especially love the Swiss Made watches from Fossil. I think I have already mentioned this in my previous post but I just have to show you my favourites! 

I go for more functional watches like these which are automatic chronograph. Chronograph are generally more expensive but they give a more complicated and professional looking face which I really like on my hand. Then again, these chronograph watches from Fossil are soooo affordable! For the price point and the quality (swiss made product) you are getting, this is one watch I will recommend to ladies who share the same sentiments on watches like I do :) 

Tried on one of the watches below which has sapphire crystal glass front – and I see that as a sign of good quality watches. The one in the middle has a pretty rose gold case, sapphire blue dial and the very antique looking saddle brown leather strap. To top it off,  it is an automatic watch ;)

One of the gorgeous watch which doubles up as an accessory from Karl Lagerfeld! Trust the man to think of something like that! Do you know that WSI is one of the very few watch boutiques that is certified to carry Karl Lagerfeld watches? WSI also carries an exclusive range that is personally designed by Karl Lagerfeld himself. Double wow.

This beauty from Karl Lagerfeld is soooooooooo gorgeous! Did not get it in the end as I still prefer watches with chronograph functions but am regretting it now because it is soo affordable…:( 

My favourite from DKNY would be the one from the right! Loveeee faces like that!

Had some fun in the boutique while waiting for Bea to choose her watch. Trust Peggy to think of random to-do dares like the one she asked Bea to wear watches all over her hands then walked out of the boutique and ask passer-bys what time is it. Hahahaha Peggy! Really?? 

(But I really like that idea haha)  

Thank you WSI for gifting me with such a gorgeous watch from Fossil! Can’t wait to wear this baby out! Love it that it is nude in color, has a elegant silver case and complements my skin color so well.
