I love surfing the net and saving pretty photoshoot photos when I see one.
It’s part of my job to study photoshoots from all around the world which gives me inspiration for V.G.Y. shoots.
This inspiration is considered as an incentive that motivates me :)
I was contemplating cutting my hair short like this vintage photo below. J had been tempting me to chop off my tresses as well. I think about all the different styles I can do during shoots (vintage like a Mary Jane girl and loads more)…I am sooo enticed!
Well…should I?
Thought I could tweak the curves of V.G.Y. photos to be something like the one above. It adds a entirely different vibe to the usual photos you have been seeing for 84 collections! Blah!
Another beauty below with hair shorter than mine!
I love how the use of 1 statue emphasizes the fierceness behind the softness of this look.

Every week, I try to update yummy visuals to share with everyone because…who doesn’t love pretty photos?
Maybe one day I will go this short.
You know how some models went from a teen model to a supermodel overnight just by chopping off their locks to stand out and be uniquely different from the rest?
Just like the girl below. Yea, she’s a girl.
But then again, long hair transcends sexuality and exudes the a feminine aura which can be so versatile in many different styles.
Not forgetting, floral collections donned by a long haired beauty, in a subtle autumn background, adjusted by manmade curves – is a manifestation of BEAUTY.
I can never get enough of floral prints/Victorian prints and all the floral floral floral everywhere zomg!
Probably V.G.Y. should do some night shots with some really strong lighting
Think J will smother me for making him work late into the night haha
I am intrigued by the lighting below and how it cast a cheerful and spirited outlook. Will try this lighting out soon! Wonder if it is achievable with the current equipment…
Lastly, red lips are backkkkk. Weehee~
No one can be any happier than I am haha
Bought a new lippie in OPI MALAGA WINE color and…it looks fantastic!
Will be using it in the shoot later and hope it can change the entire look we have been doing for the past few collections!

This was my previous OPI color. Really loved how the green makes my hand look so fair and mysteriously seductive. Goes pretty well with my royal blue YSL ring too!
And this is the new color I tried 2 days back.
I just discovered Orly has the BEST palette for pastel colors! I would say the colors are even better than the ones from Chanel! Gona try the baby blue or baby pink color on my next mani!

Before I end off this post, let me show you the original inspiration of V.G.Y.’s manufactured design launching in the new collection!
I added a stretchy and thick inner lining so all pcs (even creame) are not sheer hee.
And, the chiffon used is extremely luxurious. Feels like silk to touch! It is the first time I felt such fabric (although it has already been in the market)! Glad I chose the right fabric :D
There are 2 different sash provided as well. 1 of which is a real suede braided mini belt and it gives a Grecian vibe to the dress when worn. Can’t decide between the 2 sashes when I wore it out!
Worn 1 of the colors out today but I am not releasing any OTD photos yet hehe.

Monday, August 15, 2011 :: The Garden Slug, Marina Barrage & So Much Fun!
It was another Sunday after C84 photoshoot and we headed to The Garden Slug for brunch! :):)
I wore the Lizzie cotton & lace top out after the shoot because it looked really good with my nude shorts. Erm yup I wore it exactly like how it was in C84 photos – Lizzie, shorts and Wisteria wedges lol.
We ordered the battered prawns which taste like the usual Japanese tempura prawns
Mushroom Portobello – SO GOOD. IT IS SOOOO DAMN GOOD.
The big breakfast mega set which I don’t find it value for money as the food is pretty normal like the usual omelette, bacon, mushroom, hashbrown and franks. Abit too normal for my liking. But then again, the FOOD is good haha.
It comes with this small cup of yogurt + nuts. It taste abit like hamster food though haha. I tasted hamster food before so trust me on this. But it is extremely nutritious!
I ordered omelette with smoked salmon. This dish is realllllyyy damn good BUT do not order extra omelette. It was abit tooooo much. Imagine your omelette is like 4 of your palms placed side by side – THAT MUCH. I almost vomitted just looking at it.
If you realized, in C84, there is only 1 design which the photos are taken in Haji Lane. Shipment came in late and we have to shoot design separately the next day. Sadly, I missed my Monday class because of this small shoot :( Had to settle backorder packing for C82 before my class so…:(
Wore the Hansel denim tunic right after the shoot because…it is so damn pretty!
Oh! And I am selling off this Aldo floral cateye shades at $26. Wore it out only 2 times! Let me know if you are interested!
Went to Dempsey after dropping off backorder envelopes at Singpost to have B&J :)
Appreciate days like this because it doesn’t come by easy!

Here’s my little babygirl! Brought her out for kite flying and picnic!
Was wearing this blue chiffon top in nude. Kept this in 2 colors because it is such a timeless piece to keep! Launched only the nude piece on V.G.Y. and sold off all blue pcs in KissJane hee.
Back to kite flying, it was sooo sunny that day we couldn’t open our eyes. Just look at J lol.

To end off this post, let me show you what went on during the recent C84 shoot. But before that, I wanna talk about my hair! As I have some bohemian themed designs this time round, J styled my hair in such a way it has little natural waves. It was something different from the usual curls he would do for me. I find that the waves look really good when it is tied to one side! Don’t you feel so??
Also, we took into consideration about my hair blocking the clothes and..I decided to tie it up instead!
Then, J tong my hair at its ends to create inward curls like these. He said it would match the girly and feminine outfit with a twist to the curls like how dungarees are a twist to the usual dresses. I was completely convinced and love the curls this time round! I am learning how to do this myself now! :)
As usual, J expects to do something different this time round. And……he played crazy songs then expect me to dance to the tunes –____- There were so many jumping around, acting crazy and screaming..
“Tricia Ong I asked you to dance not to show me japanese act cute poses what are you doing hello!!!!!”
”Don’t dance so fast la!!! How the camera capture!?” – So i started acting like an idiot moving like a robot to damn fast songs..
J was like a photographer turned mental that day
In the end…most of the photos……turn out like this…
I was really dancing man.
